I plan to go to the meeting in Plymouth. It is important that the centre-left has a strong voice and works to elect a social democratic government for a all the people in a united Britain.

Any meeting of members is good because there is much to discuss, including Cameron’s proposed war on Syria (is he for or against Assad?). Russian bombers have already killed over 200 civilians. More bombs from the UK will not get the hearts and minds of Syrians; when our house was bombed by the Nazis in 1943, it made me hate the Germans. Why not spend the war money on Syrian refugees? Sorry but Plymouth is too far away for us; a meeting in Exeter would be better?
