Our first meeting since the election

Central Devon Labour Party is meeting for the first time since the General Election on Tuesday 26 May. No doubt we'll discuss what went well, and what we can do better, the Leadership contenders and what we're going to do locally in the coming months.

All are welcome - it's informal, at the lovely Globe Inn in Exeter.  Full details on the Events page.

Unfortunately I can’t make it as I have another meeting to go to. Can I say though that I feel we need to try to influence the Party to take more time about finding a new leader and use that time to get feedback from the membership about the way to go. Aftet all if the electorate wanted a left of centre party they would have voted Lib Dem, they didn’t. The problem was not being left wing enough and not therefore explaining why that is a good thing
